Post Six

Tuesday April 6th
Practice, breakfast and then the boys did a good job of tidying and packing their rooms. What was once spread around was now back in the confines of its bag. On the bus and on the road at 10am for a leisurely drive up the coast to Mooloolaba. A very informative bus driver told us all we needed to know about everything on the drive, I almost consider myself an expert on Queensland. We had one stop at a BP which it seems everyone was stopping at. The driver found Mooloolaba Backpackers easily and we quickly settled in. Off down to the beach which is only a short walk and it proved a hit. A bit more swimmer friendly than Surfer’s and it seemed a nicer beach. We organised tea across the road at the Bowling club, buy one special get the second for half price. All you can eat pizza tomorrow night at the Backpackers and we will probably use the free BBQs down on the beach on Thursday night before an Aussie BBQ at the Backpackers on Friday night. I think we are all looking forward to playing another game after the routine of practice and the down time since the last game. Hopefully we will see some of what has been practiced in the game tomorrow. PS since I know it is raining in Palmerston North I can inform you we are sitting on a balcony on a balmy evening after sun on the beach.
